it's forty some degrees out and J let them out with sandals---and the first thing Angel did was lose her shoe in that HUGE pile---so J helped her find it; and I suggested they remove their sandals, mittens and hats before going back into the pile, as I'm afraid they'd get lost forever and the big leaf-sucker-upper truck would consume them:(
