Happy 11th Birthday to my Little Angel!

And just like that, she went from toddler to pre-teen......

We celebrated Little Angel with  a shopping spree with Grandma, lunch/dinner with Grandma and Grandpa at one of our favorite local places; and of course....presents and cake (she requested Lemon:)




 


 
 

 
Per my Little Angel, this was the best birthday ever!  When I inquired about the birthday that she spent at Sea World, or another one at Lego Land, or another one in St. Augustine, FL, or even another one in Disney World? ..... her response: "oh, I say this every year;)"

my beautiful little angel is turning 11 tomorrow! still don't know how that's possible.....(yes I'm a wee bit nostalgic;)

The first half of my daughters' lives were spent visiting their grandparents at their WI house...which sold at the end of October.  The second half of my daughters' lives were spent visiting their grandparents at their FLA house...also recently sold.  If it weren't for my parents buying, and us visiting them at this house (for ahem, three weeks, right after they moved in)...I honestly don't believe we'd be living where we are right now:)   And now, grandma and grandpa live here too!  So grateful for everything.

My trustee assistant and I are in the bling studio this afternoon. I was trying to decide which bracelet I wanted to create, and was strongly feeling, "Angels Watching Over Me." My choice was further confirmed, when I began creating this new piece, "Arms of An Angel" came on my Pandora Radio.

honing my wire-wrapping skills

Two weeks ago I decided to teach myself to wire wrap...I had no idea I'd have so much fun working with the wire (I of course love to work with the stones). I decided to rework the wrapping on my danburite and petalite, since I've had more practice (ok also because the wire got caught in my lace sweater and I had to choose between the wire or the sweater;)
Still not perfect, but the artistic side of me is really enjoying this new skill development ... Opening doors to more ideas for my little shop;)  (www.etsy.com/shop/DFInspirations)
