Well, J has returned to work today, and our 10 months of vaca are officially over (ok, not really, life is a permanent vaca when you reside on the beach!)

The girls have decided that whatever Ken does, their Daddy will do too...aka, they have utter and complete control over their daddy's actions. Day one of daddy's new job: hand stands and LOTS of napping:O

We are reading about monks and monesteries for history. Little Angel: "oh, I know Monk, he's on Grandpa R's favorite show!"n
on this day, six years ago:
the first new big girl bed is up, and the four year old (who had only recently been three) will FINALLY be out of the crib (sniff sniff:(--we tried a toddler bed earlier this year, but she wanted no part of it and we didn't like the bed and wound up taking a $75 loss as we sold it for $25 to a resale shop.
