Weekend in Cleveland:

We hit the road after a few months of not hitting the road.   It's always strange to me to drive, after not doing any driving except around town.  I don't feel this huge need to travel, because it still feels like a vacation here:)  However, it's always good to travel and visit family and take a trip here and there; even if I have to learn to drive on the interstate
 
 and "gasp" in "big cities" again:)

We had a wonderful long weekend with our Cleveland family:

always good to keep life in balance:)

From shorts and tanks and boating two days ago...to jeans and fall ponchos....LOVE fall fashion! (aka: my SC winter "coat;" 

and the real reason for the trip...Celebrating 93 years young 🎉🎈🎂🎉!!! 



 
 but alas, it was time to hit the road again

 

Headed home!


...check out the foot hills, haha;)Oh, and ALWAYS make sure you know that the last step on a stairway, is *really* the last step, especially when it's dark, unfamiliar, and you're carrying a bunch of luggage. :O 



Drove straight from Cleveland to Urgent Care near our house...sprain and twisted ligaments, no fracture ...once again, I will live (but will miss biking for awhile longer;)
