Hunting Island, dinner on the beach
We finally we able to bring the girls' daddy to Hunting Island. He's been working so hard since we arrived, he hasn't had much time-out for fun. So, last Sunday, we packed up our baby smoky joe, and had a cookout on the beach. Picnics prove rather challenging on the Atlantic Coast. As much as we LOVE LOVE LOVE the strong ocean breezes, they carry our plates and things away. Adults can manage, but it's more challenging for the kiddos. Need to come up with some ingenious windproof method for the plates---may involve some heavier plate holders or something--or, hmmm, maybe we should just move onto acryllic plates, and help the environment more, which is right up our alley anyway!
