Lowcountry Wind Symphony!

Since the end of May, I've been working tirelessly with an amazing group of musicians to create this wonderful new musical
ensemble.....I'm SO excited to announce our very first rehearsal in this amazing location!   Our band directors include a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music and the Officer in Charge of the Parris Island Marine Band.

This is going to be ONE cool gig!  (and they're both Italian;)

LWS REHEARSAL
Wed. Oct. 22nd, 2014

The wait is over. Tonight we received the ‘go-ahead’ from the Arts Council of Beaufort County for the Lowcountry Wind Symphony to rehearse at the ARTWorks facility in Beaufort. We are fortunate to have received approval to rehearse in this location and to forge this relationship with the Arts Council. We're grateful to the Executive Director and the Council's board for welcoming us to their facility.
The inaugural rehearsal of the Lowcountry Wind Symphony will be held next Wednesday evening, October 22nd.
This is a big moment for the LWS as we will have access to an excellent facility for our rehearsals. Don Jemella and Steve Giove are very much looking forward to welcoming you to begin creating music together. Here are the rehearsal details:
Date: Wednesday, October 22, 2014
Time: 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
Location: ARTWorks
Address: 2127 Boundary Street, ‪#‎18A‬, Beaufort (Cross Streets: Between Hogarth St. and Greenlawn Dr.)
Wind Symphony members may wish to carpool to the rehearsal site. We will discuss this further at upcoming rehearsals.
Membership Fee: As mentioned previously, the membership fee for the first year is $35.00. We will collect this fee at Wednesday’s rehearsal.
Music and folders will be distributed. Please bring your music stand.
This is an exciting time as the Lowcountry Wind Symphony begins to establish itself as the newest music ensemble in our communities. We look forward to making great music together.
See you on next Wednesday evening October 22nd!
