Taffy Apple Salad

Combine:
4 chopped, unpeeled apples
8 oz. crushed pineapple (drain and reserve juice)
8 oz cool whip
Flaked coconut, to taste


Cook til Thick: 
1/4 cup sugar
2 T. vinegar
1 T. flour
1 egg

Cool and Combine with apple mixture.
Stir in chopped fine nuts (3/4 cup)
