that you can actually determine the temperature in degrees fahrenheit, by counting the number of times crickets chirp within 15 seconds, and then adding that number to 37?  The answer will give you the current temperature!  Another great lesson from our wonderful new curriculum, Moving Beyond the Page!  Since we live in the land of mostly year-round crickets, we will try this very soon, if not sooner!
