I've wanted a chalkboard for awhile now....

I'm not even quite certain why....I just think they are very simple and inspiring....much more crafty and cute than a modern-day dry-erase board. When I see cafes post their specials on an a-frame chalk board, outside on the side walk, I just know that's somewhere I want to eat.  When I see a craft shop post messages on a chalk board, with some inspiring message, I just know I want to shop there.  I knew I wanted a chalkboard for my little Dragonfly Inspirations Business.....only I'm a business without walls, but I LOVE craft shops, so as I envision my little bracelet and metal stamping business, I do see it as if it IS indeed a brick and mortar shop with very cutsy walls;)  And I see customers eager to visit my little inviting shop, because the first thing they see is some inpiring message on my beautiful rustic chalk board.  But, I knew just *having* a chalkboard, especially since I don't really have a physical shop, was not justifiable.  And then it hit me!  I have a table in my foyer, I recently began decorating it for the flavor of the season:

You know, like Valentine's Day, but I found, with my creative vision, I had to spend money (is that ironic, when I should have just made something;) for the "LOVE" block, because I have a thing for words (being an English Major and all;):

Or Christmas, again, notice the word "JOY"!

Well, soon it's going to be time to set up for Spring/Easter (no, not doing anything for St. Patrick's Day;), and I found myself on Etsy, looking for the perfect Spring block message.  And that's when it hit me, where my chalkboard finally makes sense!  I can now write my own inspiring messages on my very own cute rustic chalk board, with pretty colorful chalk!  (***though finding anything but sidewalk chalk, in the day of dry-erase boards, is nearly impossible!  Target...NO, Walmart...NO, Walgreens...NO, Staples...BINGO, (though I had to look really really hard in that store to find one tiny little box of chalk.....and darn if I didn't forget to look for an eraser!)
But, I found the perfect chalkboard, in an Etsy shop, and I LOVE it!  My life is now complete:D

Stay tuned for my fun spring/Easter table!
