lunch at Frosty Frog Cafe' in their new and fabulous outdoor section
in case lunch in the new and fabulous outdoor section wasn't enough, I noticed our server had a beautiful Treble clef tattoo on her forearm...so shy me of course asked her about it :D It turns out she was a piano major and also plays flute, but drives to the music shop on the south side of Savannah to play with a small group there. She had NO idea our band has been here for two years. So, I just recruited us a brand new flute player! She's VERY excited and will come to our next rehearsal! AND, if that wasn't enough, it turns out her son is the first chair clarinetist at Bluffton High School....so, if he's game, he's welcome to join us too!

a fabulous girls' day out was had by all (and we didn't forget about daddy, by any means...we bought him a hat...I hope it fits his head :D )
