Legoland!

Yesterday we were in Cypress Gardens playing at Legoland!  For the last three years in a row (since we've lived in South Carolina), Grandma and Grandpa have gifted us "Orlando" gifts.  2011 was a family day pass to Magic Kingdom; 2012 was our Season's Pass year to Sea World; and 2013 was a day pass to Legoland!  The beauty of homeschooling is, we were able to go on a fabulous weekday, with perfect weather, and NO crowds!  The day was perfect, we all had a blast, and we are VERY grateful to Grandma and Grandpa!

And of course, what blog posting would be complete sans the proverbial photos.  So, without futher adieu, welcome to Legoland!  (formerly Cypress Gardens):

I know that the kids want to go here, but I wasn't sure about the height requirements for the rides. Were there very many for tall kids only?

Looks like you guys had a ton of fun!

I'd say it was about 50/50; Katie just made the heigh requirements for the older kid rides. I think it would be worth your while; but I wouldn't make a special trip just for Lego Land, I'd only go down if you were going to Florida anyway. They have a station where you can drive cars and pay $15.99 to get a photo driver's license (yes we bought into it;) They have one with taller cars for the older kids, and a separate driving school for the younger kids :)
