Grandparents

So this was a really neat surprise my mom brought to me today. (She's in the process of going through thousands of photos and making digital copies).

She brought me a Polaroid of my Grandma Marcie (my dad's mom) knitting an afghan, along with the very afghan which she is knitting in the photo 

 

in memory of Heide Bingo Babe....our beagle:)

Today would be Heide's birthday....she's be 47 years old if she were still with us (we'll just skip over the whole "doggy years thingie....not a big fan of aging my beloved fur babies;)....anyway, my mom is sifting through thousands of Polaroids....and I'm having fun seeing some pictures that I've never seen before.  This is me and Heide....we were both born in KS....within just a few months of one-another;)
