Saturday....had me a nice mommy day!

I started out with a wonderful Kundalini yoga session.  Too chilly for boating or beaching (though not too chilly for biking mid day!)....girls slept in...it was time:)

Literally, as I was about to roll my yoga mats back up...Piper stepped onto the mat and went right into the downward dog pose....wish I had had my camera . Love Divine Timing and Divine Doggy Humor

I then hit my favorite Rock Shop...which just happens to be a couple of blocks from the beach :D

and I concluded this wonderful day, with a new moon date night in my magical backyard forest, with my hubby, piper, and these amazing fire spirits!  (Look closely in the last photo...do you see an angel?)

Sunday Fun....

Wonderful bike ride today through our local national wildlife preserve topped off with a cozy camp fire....and the icing on the cake....as I was driving onto the bridge, a dolphin jumped into the air, parallel to me....so amazing!'n

Today's nature ride....you know you're in for a great day when you cross the bridge to go onto the island, and a dolphin jumps up into the air parallel to you!!!!

scenes from my home from last evening....

frogs and fire!

isn't this a cool photo!!  He's climbing up our back family room window, which faces our woods...and the sun was setting...giving us this very cool illusion of the frog climbing the trees :D

ok, so this is obviously not a frog; but my gnome didn't want to be left out :D

ahhhhhhh, peace...my forest was ALIVE last night...wow!!

when the weather's warm, there are always at least three greeting us from our front porch:)

took Piper for an evening stroll, being VERY careful not to step on the toads on the road:)  As I was saying the forest was ALIVE last night, as were the ponds...heard a wonderful symphony of Carolina Frogs....I personally only know the tree frog, barking tree frog, squirrel tree frog, and the Eastern Narrowmouth Toad (they are LOUD...they got into my girls' little kiddie pool last year;)...and the bull frogs (where where very active at the ponds)...I'll have to learn to identify more frogs...we have SO many!

I just found this very cool websight identifying the frogs native to my area, by looks and by sounds:

and finally, after our little stroll, we came home to this guy hanging out on our patio door (and apparently using it as its toilet :D)  I wanted to open the screen, without letting it in the house...so I gently nudged it with a stick, when it proceeded to hop onto my shoulder.  I confess I squealed a tad ;)

Life with Froggie tales, to be continued:)

Pink Moon....Eclipse

We had ourselves a wonderful campfire celebration, with our Tibetan Bowls and Sacred Native American Flute:

and eventually, the clouds cleared away to make room for her (sorry, cell phones don't take the best moon shots...this was taken from above my forest.....I could only see it through the trees in my backyard, so I went to our front yard to get the above the tree shot; I'm not sure that my "good" camera did any better)
