honing my wire-wrapping skills

Two weeks ago I decided to teach myself to wire wrap...I had no idea I'd have so much fun working with the wire (I of course love to work with the stones). I decided to rework the wrapping on my danburite and petalite, since I've had more practice (ok also because the wire got caught in my lace sweater and I had to choose between the wire or the sweater;)
Still not perfect, but the artistic side of me is really enjoying this new skill development ... Opening doors to more ideas for my little shop;)  (www.etsy.com/shop/DFInspirations)

I wire wrapped my first stone!

My first attempt at wire wrapping...not perfect but I'm happy I did this all by myself:)....I wire wrapped my danburite..."the stone of enlightenment"...a powerful connection to the White Ray; the Great Healer; brings direct contact to the Spirit and Angelic Realms.
