Little Angel started ballet and lyrical dance classes last night!

please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me......(I bought raffle tickets)

I NEED to win this!  my girls have both outgrown the trailer and I lost my seat on the bike train....it's REALLY hard going back to a standard bike:D


Buddy used to ride with us....before kids....that was his trailer :D

The Little Red Hen

The girls took the short story, "The Little Red Hen" and together rewrote it into play form. They changed the format of the story so that little red hen displayed attributes which made her a more effective leader. They then selected stuffed animals to represent the main characters of their play and acted it out for me and Piper.

serenity

black bean patties (burgers)

mash one can of black beans
finely dice bell peppers and onions
combine in a mixing bowl:
above ingredients
one egg
garlic to taste
seasonings of choice
1/2 cup of bread crumbs

stir well
shape into patties

bake, pan fry, or grill until finished

choose any toppings desired

ballet season is back on tap....

oh, and tap dance lessons too!

Watching three deer in my backyard as I listen to a barred owl and a nearby tree frog, and watch big dragonflies wiz around, as a baby lizard crawls around my chair.....
I live for this stuff

Returned home to find two toads in the driveway... I couldn't pull all the way in...had to run in for a flashlight and start nudging them along with a tap with my foot ... The first guy hopped right in front of my front tire to hide
