sunday at the beach......

and we only received 6 jellyfish stings in three people....all within only a 10 minute time frame.  Fairy Girl was most upset, and is now afraid to go back in the water.  Little Angel's a veteran, and was back in immediately; hubby managed just fine too....I ALWAYS carry a squirt bottle of vinegar in the beach bag, for just such occasions.  And NO, we have NEVER entertained the idea that was suggested on that infamous episode of "Friends." ;)  (note to self: research prime jellyfish conditions and season; if possible, avoid those conditions:)  Today was high tide with very choppy water...mid August:)

And on a better note: Watched a retired age couple sit on the beach together...she was knitting, he was holding her yard (strong coastal breezes;). So romantic and touching!
