Friday Funday

We managed to squeeze our swimming lessons in prior to the sky letting loose...yeah!!  Both girls have completed week five of swimming lessons, and week three of intermediate advanced.  Intermediate advanced puts you in the deeper end lanes, with open swim across the pool.  Sometimes the coach is coaching in the water, other times the coach is coaching in street clothes from outside of the pool.  Fairy Girl is having some confidence issues, and is still a little afraid of the deep end...and I'm not sure she has the upper body strength yet....so, after talking to her today, she agrees she'd feel more comfortable spending her last week back in beginner advanced level.  I spoke with the head coach, and she has no problem with it...she wants her to be comfortable too.  I do NOT want this to be a negative experience for either of them, where we live it is critical that these girls know how to swim!  The intermediate advanced class is fairly large, and there isn't the luxury of a lot of one on one attention....and I think Fairy Girl needs a little more of that; so going back to advanced beginner is a good choice.....and now she feels good about it.  (and so do I:)

Anyway, the rains eventually let loose, so we spent our Friday Fun Day somewhere different...any guesses;)



and then we returned home to our welcoming committee:))   Grateful for another fabulous Friday Fun Day!
