we went to the Savannah Boat show

because our current boat no longer has a floor; and that just doesn't make for comfortable boating:D  The real story is, when we moved down, it was the first time our boat was stored outside...and with the new climate, heat, lots of sun, etc....well, the cover leaked, and we didn't realize it...and our boat which is almost 30 years old) has wood floors...and well, the wood rotted...J removed the flooring...and then he got sick of the job...so now we have a working boat with no floor :D  So, we hit the boat show.  We decided, living where we do, and with J having Fridays off, it really is worth it for us to buy a new boat.  Boats have changed quite a bit over the years, and we found what we want!!!  But at a price of around $30k, it's going to have to wait another year...we did just buy a new popup camper, afterall..and a new mattress for our bed ......I'm going to keep making bracelets, and stash the cash away:D  and next year we will get our boat (preferably one with a floor;)

Here are some scenes from the boat show:

Photo: The girls want this boat
ok, so the girls got VERY bored after awhile...and I wanted J to have a chance
to really get a good look at what's out there...so they hung out on this boat, while
I read a book on the boat next to them...it was kind of cool;)

Photo: My view to river street...just one little swim to get there:D
